HIGHVELD – It begins with you to say I need to live better, I can live without gender-based violence, I can live without substance abuse.
This is according to motivational speaker, Mr Ernest Tshabalala.
For him it all about helping and motivating others.
He began Dynamic Grace Counsellors and Motivational Speakers at the beginning of this year and has seen himself growing from strength to strength.
Mr Tshabalala, who is also a pastor, came across this field through a vision. “I prayed and asked God why He is showing me this and he answered me: to help the community”
“I have to do what I can to help my community.”
After plenty of praying and consulting with his wife, Ms Joyce Tshabalala, or also know as Mam Njabulo, it was decided to take God’s calling to the next level.
Mr Tshabalala recently spoke at the Sasol Health Workers Appreciation event, where health care workers were honoured for their hard and tireless work and commitment during this time of Covid-19.
“We had to address the fear and anxiety amongst our hospitals and medical staff surrounding the current pandemic of Covid-19.”
“The morale is low and we need to always motivate and encourage those who are going through hard times.
This will pass.”
The huge increase in gender-based violence is concerning for Mr Tshabalala.
“There are roots embedded in a man, and for some a way of upbringing where a woman must be submissive, but for some they take submission overboard.
“We need to bring an end to gender-based violence.
“We need to respect each other’s life,” said Mr Tshabalala.
“With Covid-19 people have lost their jobs, hope and direction, therefore we need leaders in every sphere of the community to help those who are being affected by this.”
Mr Tshabalala also placed focus on the youth and matriculants who are currently writing exams.
“There is hope, if we plough more into our children by giving them positive thought there will be positive results.
“In the future we can say we survived this pandemic despite all odds.”
His final words to matriculants are to stay calm, study hard and stay focused.
Mr Tshabalala concluded by saying that DGC&MS goes by their slogan which is dynamic, vibrant and successful.
